Mansory Zapico: Carbonfiberus Maximus

Luxury knows no bounds. Take the automotive aftermarket. Seems that there’s always enough money somewhere to pay someone to take a luxury or hyper-performance car to a whole new level.

Mansory – as man-ly a brand-name as we can imagine — does this with Ferraris, Astons, Bentleys and most notably, Bugatti Veyrons. What we noticed today however, thanks to our friends at AutoBlog, was the completely insane bespoke chopper that Mansory has developed in partnership with customizer Thomas M. George.

Mansory maintains that only the finest, most lavishly processed carbon decorates the impressive-looking Zapico model and that most of the bike was built from scratch in its factory located in the town of Brand in the Upper Palatinate region of Bavaria. From Mansory’s press release: The custom bike is driven by a powerful 124 cubic inch (around 2,080 cm_) V2 engine made by the well-known American engine manufacturer S&S. This large two-cylinder engine delivers a full 160 hp to the extra-large rear tyres and can accelerate the 340 kg bike from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds.

We’ll take one for an extended test ride down HWY 1 please.
