Video: Motus MST Prototypes Endure Closed-Circuit Testing

If you’ve been reading, then you now how bullish we are on what Lee Conn, Brian Case and their team have pulled together at Motus. We can’t emphasize enough just how much we’d like to take a few laps on this bike. To make matters worse, just this morning, the new American motorcycle company released a new video showing its prototypes running at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama.

We came across this web promo from Victory while searching for good video. Here they discuss the engineering and design of its Core Prototype bike which premiered at 2009 International Motorcycle Show in New York City.

Notice how the frame is cast by pouring aluminum into a sand core, which is removed when the casting process is complete. And that frame? It’s also the steering head, gas tank and air box. Oh, and with such a simplified design, the bike can be completely disassembled in less than an hour.
